About Me

I come from the land that has been watered by the holy Ganga. I belong to the land of Bijnor, UP which has produced a popular Hindi writer and shayar Dushyant Kumar and notable film maker  Prakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj. As there are various aspects to define a person, I think that first I should write about the reason that lead me to write here, on the blog. I don't know exactly when I discovered my inclination towards writing. I do remember that first time I had written something was when I was in 8th standard. But unfortunately I couldn't keep them with me and lost that paper somewhere. It was Gazal kind of lines where a boy intends to express his love to someone special. And after that i never wrote anything till I reached in engineering college. In final year of my college, my interest burst out like a dormant volcano and I created this blog. My lateral critique thinking drives me to write.

The shortest sentence that can define me is the line said by the famous Hindi poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan:

मिट्टी का तन ,मस्ती का मन!! क्षण भर जीवन, मेरा परिचय…

I belong to that class of the world who always desire to fly high knowing well that it requires a ticket and ticket costs a lot. But desire doesn’t cost anything. So I wish. And the only tool a middle class has to fulfill their wish is the education. Education is a birth right but good education is a luxury. I am fortunate that I’ve lived a luxury in education. I completed B.Tech. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur. I have worked for L&T at Baroda(Gujarat). Currently I am at IIT Delhi pursuing M Tech. Poetry writing and painting, sketching are my hobbies.

I love sports like badminton, squash, volleyball and cricket. I love running and yoga. I love to spend time in park watching the people roaming around. I love to watch kites flying in the sky. I love listening music and watching films. Like most of girls and guys, I love photography. My parents are religious and so I am. But I rarely visit any temple. They believe and expect me stay away from bad habits. I can’t cheat on their faith. So, I am teetotaler.

In some other way I define myself as –

I am a good singer. My fans listen to me by stuffing their ears with their fingers.  J   :P Don't ever dare to make me sing :P

Except theatre I can’t watch complete movie on TV or Lapy in one go.

I can’t spend more than 20 rupees for a pen.

I am habitual of sleeping. Can sleep for complete day and night.

I am unable to recollect even a single night that no dream came to my conscious.

Till few days back I was habitual of nightmare. But now cute smiles come in my dreams.

I am happy-go-lucky-attitude person.

I am always ready for any exam provided the question paper should be objective type.

Ludo is the only game I am champion in. Unfortunately, no ludo match is played at international level. :)

My friends say that I give ambiguous and wicked smile.

The fruit i resemble most is sugarcane –straight and sweet.

I respect girls. I love mankind.

I am ambivert person.

I always say ‘no’ to alcohol and smoking irrespective of the person who is offering it.

I can’t allow my conscious to ignore the killing of some bird or animal for the mere taste of tongue.   I reserve ‘no’ for non veg.

I ran for 100 meter race and found that i was few seconds behind Usain Bolt.  J :P

The only animal I like to ride is tiger.  Hahaha… :D

I like to watch serious comedy. Seriously!

I have a heart which sometimes tries to overcome my mind.

The vehicle that attracts me most is Tempo because of its similarity with aeroplane.

The thing that irritates me most is smell of omelet.

I pray for her daily since I know she always do the same for me. I love my mom. I love my dad.

The fruit i like most is water melon because it can be shared among a number of people. I believe in “mil baat kar khao”.  :)  hey your share is waiting in my hand . Hurry up :P J :))
